Join us in Chicago this November for Let’s Talk About the House —LIVE, an in-person experience rooted in storytelling, strategy, and solutions.
This is more than a conference—it’s a community-powered call to action for families navigating heirs’ property, legacy preservation, and generational wealth. Anchored by the staged reading of Dena’s Loom—an original play, written by Blondena's HEIRS founder Evin Marie, tracing five generations of Black women—the event weaves together art, education, and healing. Families and communities will leave empowered with tools to preserve their homes, memory, and legacy.
All proceeds from the event supports our work to ensure Black families to be empowered to make financially progressive decisions about legacy properties, to heal relationships strained by inheritance-related conflicts, and to preserve the stories of undocumented Black institutions that were instrumental to the financial and social development of the United States.
Conference ticket (in-person): $75.00 per person
Conference ticket (virtual): $45.00 per person
Family conference bundle for 2 people (in-person): $130
Saturday reception and reading ticket: $75.00
Sunday dramatic reading and Q&A: $25.00
