

Let’s Talk About the House is Blondena’s HEIRS flagship storytelling and education program that helps families navigate the emotional and practical realities of property inheritance. Originally launched as a virtual series and conference, it combines lived experiences with expert guidance and prescriptive tools to support informed, long-term decision-making. The program partners with community-based organizations to expand access to trusted resources and meaningful conversation.

Monthly Topics include:

• Property Taxes, Probates, Power of Attorney
• Making Peace with the Past, Healing Toward the Future
• How to Have Challenging Conversations with Family

Roots and Roofs is Blondena’s HEIRS youth program designed to introduce children ages 10-14 to the 12 components of property inheritance in an engaging, age-appropriate way.
The program helps young participants understand how homes, family communication, financial literacy, and stewardship responsibilities intersect, fostering awareness of both practical and relational aspects of inheritance.
Through hands-on activities such as:
Children gain early exposure to property concepts while building skills for responsible decision-making within their families.
