Roots and Roofs is Blondena’s HEIRS youth program designed to introduce children ages 10-14 to the 12 components of property inheritance in an engaging, age-appropriate way. The program helps young participants understand how homes, family communication, financial literacy, and stewardship responsibilities intersect, fostering awareness of both practical and relational aspects of inheritance. Through hands-on activities such as STEM projects, designing houses, budgeting exercises, and exploring family support roles, children gain early exposure to property concepts while building skills for responsible decision-making within their families.
